12A Registration

Section 12A of income tax act gives exemption to trusts, societies and non profit making organizations from paying income tax. Trust, Societies and other non profit making organization generally pay income tax on surplus of income over expenditure. If they take registration under section 12A of income tax, they do not have to pay income tax. It is thus important for all Trusts, NGOs and other Not-for-Profit organizations to know importance of provision of section 12A of Income Tax Act.

  1. Application in  Form 10A.
  2. Copy of Pan card and address proof of the All Trustees.
  3. Copy or Registration Certificate with Charity Commissioner or copy of application.
  4. Notarized Copy of the Trust Deed.
  5. Copy of PAN Card of the Trust.
